Springtime

Today is “National Chocolate Mousse Day”
One of the perks I enjoy most about working from a home office is the ability to slow down a bit and enjoy the small things I used to overlook, and to spend a little time outside. I gain a bigger sense of creativity when I can breath fresh air.
Today is one of those beautiful 56 degree early spring days in Minnesota with a light warm breeze and strong sunshine. Patches of dry ground have won the battle for territory over the patches of dirty snow left over from last weeks storm, and the birds are happily gathering the abundance of nesting material left behind from the melted snow. Sitting outside right now, there are at least a dozen happy robin birds flitting about in the crab apple tree above me, picking at the remnants of last years berries, their spills are falling down around me.
Time to start thinking about spring cleaning, and yard work, and digging out the patio furniture. Maybe next week!
